no connection

When I try to 'send and recieve' I get a message
"mail.bellsouth.netproperties not responding" I know some setting is messed
up,but what & where? Thanks

Please post any error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to
highlight and then right click to copy and then paste it into this thread.
