No CDrom Burning problems NOW

I suddenly had burning problems in my two burners, liteon 52x32x52 and
maddog 52x24x52. They both quit burning at the same time. Not sure of exact
date because I dont burn everyday. Using nero 6.0 and clickN'burn software.
Both working fine for 6 months. Both will read data and play audio. Both
won't burn data or audio. I uninstalled burning software and drives.
Reinstalled everything, and nothing was fixed. I read every post here for a
few days and found alot of CD burning problems and no conclusive ideas..

I shut off auto winxp pro updates. I did a system restore to March31, 2004
(I just picked a date, no reason why). And both CD burners worked again. No
problems at all.

My system is AMD +2500, WD 80 gig HD (9 gig used), two burners (see above),
A drive, 256 kingston ram, Biostar M7NCDpro motherboard, GForce 32meg video
card, winxp pro, norton NIS 2003. System is home built and 6 months old.
Everything inside is new.

Did you get this (below) fixed? And what was it, if you now know?

My email wont open,cant shut down by clicking X,nor by rt cl.in task
bar.There is nothing that I can cl. on on this page that responds,although
it eventually opens or shuts down? Help,been trying to get reg. numbers from
other sites have I got a virus? My avg says alls clear,Trend Micro says all
clear,Spybot same,but the unreg. version I have of Spyhunter,says I have
[seek seek 57a0e-747-386 Hkey_classe???. Im lost help please and thank you

Are you still lost? Love to know what that seek thing is in your registry.
