No Cd-Rom Drive Detected after windows update installation

I installed a SP1 update and rebooted my computer and my
Plextor 24/10/40X Cd-Rom drive wasn't detected Has anyone
else had this problem and maybe a Soultion?

Yes this have happen to me also. My E: & D: can not be found, I "ve tried the system recovery to revert back to a later date before I installed the SP1 update but my system recovery was set on off. So I don't know how to manually go back to an even earlier date
