Hi, I hope you all are doing well today.
I have Dell 8200 Inspiron with no floppy drive (apparently
a mistake) and can't get it to boot up to windows. I can
get to the SAFE MODE option screen but none of the options
will get me to a prompt or a Windows screen--not even the
last known good configuration. I've ran Dell diags and
there is nothing wrong with the hard disk or so it said.
I have 2 questions:
1. Does anyone have a clue as to how I can get the system
up and running or at least to a DOS prompt so I can see if
I can copy some files from the hard disk?
2. Can someone tell me how to create a bootable CD I can
use to try to start the PC?
Thanks in advance.
