At 18.52 it was beeping at you, and now at 19.12 it`s not beeping, so things
are obviously getting better..J

No, this is a different machine. We have 100 of them.

And I thought I`d got problems. Mind you B. if you think about it you`ve got
a lot of options for testing. Assuming some at least are the same or
similar. You can slip a CPU out and test it on a non-working machine etc.
etc. Wish i had that many spare parts. best wishes ..J

This machine is giving me no beeps whatsoever and no video either. It
does power up though. Is this a processor problem perhaps?

I've met a few cases similar to this in the past. It's usually
either the motherboard or the processor. It's the mobo in some
cases and the CPU in others. Easily confirmed by
cross-substitution esp as you have a large number of similar
machines. Even the erratic beeping described in your other post
could also be caused by either of the two.

I have since replaced the processor but the symptom remains the same.
I must conclude the motherboard is at fault.
