no background colour

Why do my browser only display a white background on all
web-pages? I know many of the sites have a background
colour different than white. I have the latest browser
and all updates installed.
 
Check that you are allowing the webpage background color and not yours. Go
to Tools > Options > General tab > Colors. Make sure "Use Windows colors"
is checked.
 
Go to the Accessibility dialog and make sure Ignore colors is not checked.
(Alt-T,O,Alt-e,c)
