IE png bug

Daniel

When Internet Explorer displays a png with a transparent
background, neither the default white background of the
webpage, nor the background colour for the png was
inserted. The png displayed with a black background. I
tried this in several browsers such as mozilla, opera, et
cetera and none had this issue. It appears to be a problem
with Internet Explorer png support. I apologize if this
bug has been reported before, but I'm not familiar enough
with this product to find it's developer site or bug
tracker.

Thank you,
Daniel R.

It's a known issue. Hopefully with IE7 - may be? Please?

IE supports only one transparent colour, just as GIFs do.
