I recently installed a Linksys 802.11g wireless network
on two PC's using the WRT54G router and two WMP54G PCI
cards.
Everything was working fine for a day or so. I updated
XP using Windows Update and new .dat files for McAfee
successfully. I later noticed that I was getting a "Code
10" on the wireless card on one of the computers.
I switched cards with a known good card, re-installed the
latest driver and no longer have the code 10, but now no
available networks show up, even when I enable the SSID
broadcast on the router. The other computer that I put
the "Code 10" card into works fine and connect with no
issues.
I checked everything I can think of: Drivers, switched
PCI slots, uninstall/reinstall, restarted the Wireless
Zero config service.
I am out of ideas. I saw some others having similar
problems, but I couldn't find a fix. Linksys support
suggested I buy a new card.
Any suggestions?
