no automatic connect to wireless network

When I boot my computer, it does not connect automatically to a wireless
network, and I have to use the "connect to a network" option.
In Network and Sharing Center, Manage wireless networks several profiles are
shown, some of those from networks that I no longer use.
Whatever I do (move a network that I no longer use down the list, delete it,
modify its connection properties), after a reboot, all settings are back to
what they were. I tried to remove the profile by using NETSH at the command
prompt, but this doesn't work either: the profile that I delete, just
reappears after a reboot. How do I delete or change a wireless profile
permanently?

Many thanks,

Cabwav

I just found out that this was caused the user profile that I had added by
ASUS WiFi Solo. Thanks, Cabwav
