I just upgraded my system to a Intel MB with a 2 core quad, 4 gig ram, vista
ultimate and I have my old ATI X800 and HDTV Wonder.

I got the latest video drivers and they work well. The problem is the TV,
the first time I installed, all the items where there, but the picture was
flaky. I un and reinstalled all, but now I have not sound, not even the
speaker symbol on the tuner is showing and I only have LIVE where it records
and display the video from channel.

What am I missing?

Hopefully you did a clean install of Windows and installed the chipset
drivers for the new M/B. If not go back to square one. DX & .NET v2. if
using CCC.

If your good on above do a manual clean per ATI.com/install. Unfortunately
about 20% of the time installing MMC hoses sound card drivers so you may
need to reinstall them. Install components for HDTV Wonder in the order they
appear on website page.

TVoD is always on with DTV. You can turn it off with a registry hack.See my
other post about WatchHDTV. It will run without accessing the HDD. Free.

Thanks for the response.

I do have sound from the motherboard, it lies strictly with ATI.

I used AtiCimUn to uninstall and I think you are right, I am not installing
it in the proper sequence.
