No audio with TV tuner card capture

Trying to capture live TV with Hauppage TV Tuner card and using MCE2005.
Things work fine, both audio and video, in Media Center. But when I try to
capture in WMM it shows Hauppage as the video source and my sound card as the
audio source, with various audio card inputs with level options, e.g., stereo
mix. Video from the turner captures fine, but I cannot get audio capture
from the TV Tuner. How?

Does capture work ok when connected to your sound card source listed?
Or are you saying it doesn't work when properly connected and the line in
source is selected in volume control etc.

MM often doesn't work properly with analogue sources, so you may be left
using the mce software and then converting to use in MM.

Caputure from the tuner works when I select and use microphone as the audio
source, but I've tried all the other input options under audio sources and
adjusted the volumes to high, and still no audio from the tuner card. Not
real excited about recording first in MCE, then having to convert the file,
and then editing with MM. Seems the program should work as advertised.
