No audio since vista

I have a Gateway MX6433 Laptop that came with windows XP Media Ceter. It
also came with a free mail in upgrade to Vista Home Premium. I had perfect
audio with XP, but now that I have upgraded (formatting my memory and
reinstalling as Vista) the computer can't find my intigrated sound card. I
have tried downloading media drivers for my computer, but it doesn't seem to
help, and niether do the trouble shooting tips. Can some one please help me
get my sound back

For the Gateway MX6433, the Windows Vista Audio Driver is Conexant version
6.14.10.0575 (released 2/7/2007), which you can download here:
