No Appls in Start Menu & Desktop All Users

When I install applications for "All Users", shortcuts and icons do not
appear in my Start Menu & Desktop. I run WinXP SP2, stand-alone. Any help
appreciated. Thanks - Louis

How are you installing this application? Are you making sure that you're
installing it "For All Users?"

Sure! I install "for all users"
When I create another useraccount, appls from All Users will appear in the
new account but not in mine. Somehow, the problem appears to be located in
the profile of <myusername>
