No-Annual Subscription Anti-Virus software?

Does anyone know if there's an Anti-Virus package out there that DOESN'T
demand an annual subscription / upgrade fee?

Or at least the up-front cost includes at least 3 years of upgrades?

Thanks in advance.

Is this for home or business? Most of the specialist anti-virus software
developers will work with business customers on license terms.

Home users are pretty much stuck with yearly renewals.
Thanks in advance.

Your welcome. HTH.

Thanks for the quick response.

This is for a small business with ~50 PCs, that currently have a hodge-podge
of AV software installed, most of which is out of date. We've never had a
virus outbreak, which makes it difficult to justify spending 4 figures/year
on virus protection. But we'd consider a one time purchase, or at least a 3
year purchase.

While I don't use Computer Associate's AV software, they taut licensing
agreements for both large and small businesses.

Check with F-Secure <http://www.f-secure.com> and/or Sophos
<http://www.sophos.com>. Either of them should be willing to workout a
license agreement that includes product upgrades, definition updates and
support for multiple years.
