NMSCFG Driver---Allow?

Defender presents the following message about once per week, and I can find
no information that would help me decide to "ALLOW" or "DENY". Can someone
point me in the right direction. Thanks

If you, in fact, have an Intel Nic, I suspect this is just fine. There's no
way to tell from the info you've presented--names mean nothing, of course.

Consider submitting the file itself to www.virustotal.com for one set of
opinions.

Find the file, right click it--and see whether there's any copyright
information listed--see if it claims to be an Intel file.

Perhaps a better tack would be to see whether Intel has a newer
driver--maybe a WHQL certified and signed driver--for your nic.
