Niggling problem

[Airman Basic]

Have a small network, 2 XP machines, 1 2K machine, 1 98 machine, 1 95
machine, all desktops. 1 ME laptop, 1 2K laptop. Networking's fine on
all except for the 2K laptop accessing files from the 2K desktop. A
message stating user name or password needed to access comes up. When I
type in the desktop name, files pass normally. Only have to do this once
per session. No other machine requires this. Much head-scratching. Any
thoughts?
BTW, the two laptops are wireless networked, as is one of the XP desktops.

Never mind. Enabled the guest account and got rid of the password prompt.

I assume the 2K Desktop is running Pro and not server.
Make sure you have the user names in the 2K Desktop local users and groups.
Setting the password to be the same as the 2K Laptop password should stop
the prompt.
