NIC driver unloads randomly

I have a Gateway E-4000, WinXP in a domain environment. Every once in a
while, the driver for the NIC unloads. For a temp fix I simply right click
in device manager and click "update driver". The driver is automatically
loaded. I reboot machine and driver is still loaded, however, weeks later
this process must be reapeted. Any ideas of why? Thanks

Since this is not generally the case, you might want to check with the NIC
manufacturer's website for similar issues or contact their tech support.
You might also get some response on the Network_web board. Click the
newsgroups button on the Outlook Express toolbar, type network_web in the
search box, select it from the list that appears and click to go to button
and try your question there.
