have an NT4 domain with mixed xp and nt workstations...when i view the properties of the Local area connection on SOME xp pc's i find the sent packets are with billions and recieved packets are in the normal range...the problem is that this situation is with only some xp pc's...other xp pc's and nt pc's don't have the same problem...i already made a complete windows update and the problem still presists!!!!
what can i do to stop the broadcasting of these pc's?!!!

Are you actually seeing billions of packets on the network? If not,
the reported number could just be wrong. Downloading and installing
the latest network card drivers might fix the problem.
