Itr does work. Playing it here OK. Framerates a little low but as it is
a BETA OS/Drivers, to be expected.

Found out the low framerates are due to the SB Audigy2 drivers.

It worked find for me. No problems exists. Make sure you download patch
version 1.3.

It worked fine here also , I just installed video and sound drivers for
Vista and all the games I have tried so far have worked .

"NFS - Most Wanted: Black Edition" worked fine for me! Didn't d/load any
patch or update anything.

Luck of the draw? (lol)

Also, just before running game (after install), I always bring up "Task
Manager" and end any unecessary processes, just as I do in XP-Pro.

This includes any anti-virus applications which can be "VERY" memory
intensive, as was the case for "Trend-Micro's - Beta" for Vista.

Although it's generally not a good idea to turn off any anti-virus/spyware
protection, it may be the solution to a problem. I did so only "after"
turning off my network connection/adapter(s), so as not to further any chance
of risk to my PC/HDD - and I'm not too fussed about protecting this drive as
it's only for testing Vista anyway. (Any drive that's not in use is
disconnected)

I also ran complete scans using any available anti-virus/spyware programs,
after installing the game and also each time (just before) I turn off network
connection.

May not be the correct or best solution to your problem, as scanning some
hdd's can take "Foreeeeeeeever" and would be a pain in the ass if you did
this every time you wanted to play a game, but ending any unecessary
processes can certainly help in some cases.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

Lee-roy Australia.
