.NFO Files

my computer won't open up any .nfo files anymore. could somone tell me how to
fix this? I get this message on all of my .nfo files "System Information
cannot open this nfo file. It might be corrupted or an unrecognized version.

Warez, eh?

Right-click on the nfo and choose to Open With Notepad..

It could also be a legitimate Folio Views .NFO file.

I don't know the OP so he has the benefit of doubt.

I just think it's worth mentioning because .NFO has a legitimate file extension status.

However, it just may be that the OP has no clue what a Folio file is.

..NFO could be a Warez Information file, so it appears that Shenan appointed
himself Network Cop, when if fact that .NFO file extension is used by at
least 6 other programs, including one from Microsoft. So he jumped to the
conclusion "Warez." The first thought that "jumps" to my mind is "It takes
one to call one." <VBG>

If you aren't familiar with Warez, it's the organized method on the Internet
to steal software.
