I will need to email a 4 page monthly newsletter to approximately 1500
members of an organization. NOT SPAM ... members only. Any
suggestions for software to do this? HTML not necessary, text only. Thanks.

rather than use software why not use yahoo groups, msn groups, or some
other web based group (there are TONS out there) that way you can be
assured they are going to members only (some can even be run from your
own website)

Excellent advise since many ISPs will instantly stop that many items going out at
once since it looks like spam.
There are also services that do that stuff (I have no idea what or if they
charge) but they will also handle subscruption stuff.
