Newsgroups

Hi all,
I have installed MS Office 2003 onto my PC. I am trying to understand
Outlook at the moment and compared to Outlook express and other Email
programs there is so far no newsgroups to add to outlook.
Can this be done or is Outlook 2003 just an email program and nothing more?

Outlook is a PIM and email program, not a news reader.
It calls OE to do news reading.
