As far as I am aware I need Outlook Express to set up News Groups. My problem
is that I have MS Outlook 2003 SP1 as part of the Small Business Edition of
MS Office. For some reason Outlook Express doesn't seem to be included with
this edition (I have looked on the disk). Why is it that such a simple
feature seems to be missing? Am I missing something or am I right in that it
is just not there?

When purchasing the software as part of a package with the new computer I
chose this edition of Office as an upgrade paying a significant amount extra.
I don't understand why I can't access newsgroups with Outlook. Can anyone
please shed any light on what I can do to get this feature as I would like to
use it?

Outlook EXPRESS is not related to Outlook. They are just as different as
Word and WordPerfect. Having a word in common for the product titles does
not make them related. Outlook is part of the MS Office suite of
business-oriented products. Outlook EXPRESS is bundled with Internet
Explorer, and Outlook EXPRESS is oriented towards personal users.

OE is installed with IE. Do you have IE? It is highly likely that you have
IE, so you have OE.

If you have I.E. you have O.E. Go to Control Pnl, click Add Remove Programs,
in the left pane click Add/Remove Windows Components, scroll down and check
O.E. if it's unchecked.
