Graham Long

Hi,

I'm new to this Newsgroup malarkey, and would like to download a pile of
past questions and responses for searching through. I'd like to avoid asking
the same questions as others already have.

I'm using Outlook Express6. Is there any way of downloading the past, say,
year of correspondence from this Newsgroup? And if there is, any guesses as
to how much disk space I'd need?

Cheers,

Graham

Graham,

Here's an easier method. Go to Google Groups and just search for whatever
it is you want to know. Google archives all the stuff here in the
newsgroup.

Searching through Google is an excellent method to find answers!

Hope that helps (HTH).

Regards,
Kevin

Graham,

You're to be commended. We answer the same questions over and over because
folks don't look around.

I wonder if it's because we keep answering 'em! :)

Thanks Ron,

I just went and grabbed it - good stuff. I've been using the google search
for quite a while and recommend it highly.

And from looking at your headers, you may want to connect the MS Newsservers
directly. It usually works better.

Try clicking on these links (or copy and paste into MSIE).

(You can always connect to more later)

Here are some links that explain it better:
