Newsgroup messages not posting

Is there some reason why newsgroup messages on certain boards stopped
posting at about 3.00 EST two days ago with the error message that
previously OK origination identification notes were suddenly not OK?
 
Probably falls into the "Crap Happens" category. I've been in and out
of the newsgroups over the past week or so without noticeable problems. Are
the ones you played with still having problems? I suspect that MS would be
 
I thought that but didnt think that there was any possibility of anyone at
any MS help desk caring enough to come to man a phone on this sort of
subject? If they do have a relevant help desk, they certainly dont publicise
it?
