Newbie Questions about BCM

Hello,

We are running Exchange 2k3 Enterprise with SP2 all our workstations have
office 2k3 Pro with all SPs and patches. I've only tried BCM on a
standalone workstation not connected to an exchange server.

1. I'd like to find info about integrating BC with Exchange (not installed
on any machines yet). We'll only need one contact database for all our
users. - only 10 people will be accessing it.

2. I'd like to know how much will be accessable via Outlook Web Access.

3. Will BC info be synchable wirelessly on WM5 with Exchange 2k3 SP2 and
MSFT?

4. On my standalone workstation it installed a SQL client but it isn't
attached to any server - what is the purpose of it?

Thanks!

1. BCM v2 worka with Exchange email accounts, but not leverage Exchange
in any way; i.e. using Exchange email is the same using pop3.

2. BCM is not accessible via OWA.

3. Not sure what you are asking. BCM is independent of the transport,
cable or wireless. It's networking doesn't go any deeper than using ADO
to connect to the database, and using Active Directory APIs when on a
domain.

4. It created a SQL database on your workstation. If you share your
database, other BCM users on your LAN will be able to use your
database.
