Newbie: Code for ODBC connection to db on internet with VB6

Hi all. I have a appgen db that I need to connect to via the internet... I
need the connection code if you would. I have looked at the lit and help
but there is too much info if you know what I mean. I am using VB6. I hope
this is the correct group... if not please point me in the right direction.

I did connect via the VisData utility.
