Is there a method to clear (delete) values from a
worksheet without disturbing other functions thereon?
Can this be done easily to change an old worksheet into
another ready for the input of numeric data?

Try this. Click on Edit / Go to / Special and select 'Constants'. This will
select all non-formula cells. Hit the delete button!! Don't forget to beck
up your sheet first, though!
