new xp over old xp install???

i have xp pro on my computer now. it is already
registered. i want to buy a copy of xp home and install
it. can i install the home as an upgrade? or do i have to
delete the xp pro first? i want the home and i want to be
able to register it. thanks

you can't downgrade pro 2 home/it's latter
