Hi guys,
This is kind of a weird one. I'm using Win XP Media Center Edition.
If I open a new window by clicking the Internet Explorer (IE6) icon, it
opens full size (the length & width of my monitor). That's what I want.
But -- If I open a link in one of those full-size windows by right clicking
and selecting "Open In New Window," the new window opens at a small size
(700 x 453 pixels, including toolbars & status & scroll bars, etc.).
If I open that small window to full size, then close it & try again, it
still opens at the small size.
To try to solve this problem, I have:
-- Opened all windows to full size, then closed them & tried again. This
should work - but unfortunately it doesn't.
-- Run AdAware & Spybot (they didn't find anything suspicious).
-- Run my anti-virus application (also didn't find anything suspicious).
-- Rebooted the computer (same problem occurs after reboot).
Again, it only seems to happen with windows opened as "open in new window"
as opposed to ones opened by clicking the IE icon.
I'm usually pretty savvy with computer issues, but this one has me stumped.
Any suggestions? I have a large monitor & this is just driving me nuts!
Thanks!
cheers & gracias ~
