New windows don't open when I clink on a link in IE

When I click on a link that on other machines causes a new
window to open (log-in to bank account, etc.), the machine
I'm working on goes straight to the link in the current
window, and I can no longer use the Back button to return
to the previous window when I'm done.

PLEASE HELP!!!!
