New web camera does not install..compatibility?

What can I do?
I need to change de camara and buy another one that it has compatiblity
with Vista?....please help
 
Post the error message you got when you tried to install it. Did it come
with an installation disk? Is it PlugNPlay? Use an USB port? Do you see
it in Device Manager (imaging devices)? Is it marked yellow or red? Is it
listed in the Control Panel (cameras and scanners)? Check the manufacturer's
web site for Vista driver updates if necessary.
A lot of device installation software checks for driver updates. Did yours?
