New update has broken cut-n-paste - psssing me off

Vista Ultimate, 32-bit fully patched. Now when I right click to paste, when
I click paste the menu goes away, but the item (file, shortcut) is not
pasted! I have to right click and click paste AGAIN for it do do it.

Please bust out a hotfix and reply back.

I just ran into a web page that had the right click mouse button menu
disabled. So, I could not do the Create a Shortcut on the Desktop function.
So I unmaximized the browser window and drug the icon from the address bar to
my desktop. I had to drag it twice to copy the shortcut! For what it's
worth I also have Office 2007 installed.
