new trail pack for home & student 2007 on new laptop

hi i purchase a trail pac for student and home with my new dell computer, i
didnt relize i had to get product key from back of pack from the trail and i
when through getting a new trial product key, i have recent scanned something
on my computer and word will not let me do anything with it, it asked to
activate it which i try and it says that activation system is in mantenace
and to try back in a few minutes i have extablish that my internet connection
works and have try a number of time today. and worried i have totally srewed
cause i didnt put right product key how can i reset it all and start again so
it all works,thankyou

It's important to distinguish a _trial_ (which you don't have to
purchase - it's free for 60 days) and the _full version_ (currently on
offer at $99 and also available relatively inexpensively at Amazon).

Of course, it's possible that the activation facility is down for a
while, so it's worth trying in 24 hours or more.
