I have a pc at home and want to try to start using
outlook. We are running Windows XP. Is it possible to
use outlook with multiple users without having to log out
of xp and log in as a different user? I wish to be able
to have one account for XP with multiple users for
Outlook.

Yes, 1 XP account, and separate Outlook
Profiles? Yes, you can do that.
(Unless you are logging onto a network domain when booting
up, you may run into security issues there. But
on a home PC, you should be good to go)

Yes, you can use multiple profiles for that;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

no Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

I can only select user accounts from the control pannels.

In the User Accounts category you'll find a Mail icon as well or switch to
the Classic View of the Control Panel.
