New to Access - Search problem

Hi,

I'm learning Access 2000 at the current time, and I have a question...

The search feature seems to do nothing when I try it. If form view, I've
clicked in a field text box, followed by the search button, and then entered
one of the data names for that field. No matter what I enter (and I'm only
entering data that is in that field), it says that Windows has finished
searching and it couldn't find it. The same thing happens in datasheet
view, when I can actually see what I'm looking for. Am I missing something
here...I haven't gotten it to work right yet.

Is it really a textbox or a combobox? What you see in a combo is not what
is stored in it.
