New task

Hi!

I was trying to set up a schedule for Disk Cleanup to run weekly on my pc
but when I was going thru the scheduler, it wanted me to set up a password
for the task to perform. I don't have a password set on my system as I'm
the only user. The error that I get is:

The new task has been created, but may not run becasue the account
information could not be set.
The specific error is: 0x80070005: Access is denied.
Try using the task page Browse button to locate the application.

Do I need to set a system password so that the task can be set? Thank you!

Create an account with a password, then use that account to
schedule the task.

Open the properties for the task. On the Task tab check the line that says
"Run only if logged on". If that doesn't work (depends on what the task is)
then you will need to set a password on your account in order for the task
to run.

I went ahead and put a password on my account and was able to setup my
scheduled tasks. Thank you!
