New syntax for C#, CSAML

Are they serious ? A C# syntax based on XML and supposedly the "old" C-style
syntax is to be phased out in 2008 ?

http://www.charlespetzold.com/etc/CSAML.html

I thought it was a joke first, it may make sense in a development
environment such as Visual Studio but I have to say the "old" style is more
human readable.

I'm such an idiot. Apparently it was a joke, it was published on another
website but then I saw
the April 1 2006 in the article.

Oh, well, wouldnt suprise me though if it became XML based in the future.

Scroll to the bottom:

I started cracking up at the verbosity!

Eventually I did :-/

It sounded so reasonable for a while, at least for dev environments, wouldnt
suprise me if it eventually came to this but with an option to parse it into
traditional c style syntax.

But, yes, I'm a complete fool :-(
