new styles down show up on the drop down

I am creating a templete file for our intranet & have created a new text
style ( >FORMAT > STYLE) but it doesnt show up on the style drop down in the
tool bar like it does in word. I want to remove all the pre defined text
styles too. I can seem to access them in the STYLE dialogue ( I only get user
defined or HTML)
Any ideas?

Hi Ryan,

Sorry but it works differently in FP than in Word. Styles are applied using a CSS and selectors.
