New speakers, need new dvd's

I have just upgraded from crappy 20 dollar 2 speaker with onboard sound to
an ok set of Logitech z560(decided to save some cash and not go for the
680's) speakers and a Soundblaster Audigy X-Gamer sound card. Now I wanna
buy about 5-6 dvds with EXCEPTIONAL sound to make my speakers work their ass
off! I already got matrix reloaded and the star wars movies on my list, can
you suggest any others? Thnx for your time :)

Saving Private Ryan, the D-Day scene should do it for you. Platoon is
good too and can be bought cheap now.

This aint exactly an ATI question is it. Still if you liked Saving Private
Ryan seeing it again with the bullets whistling around your head and the
explosions making the floor rumble is excellent on my 5:1. Should be pretty
good on your 4:1 too. Apocalypse Now (Redux) is another good one. Shawk.

I love 'Apocalypse Now' but I hate what they did with the Redux
version and no one seems to sell the original version anymore.

Yeh, a few of the directors cuts should never have gone back in (Marais
family at the plantation) but you do get the occasional gem such as Willard
nicking Kilgores surfboard. Still - the question was about sound and it
def' does the business on this....

Hehe...that's the part I *really* hate. What a waste of ten minutes of
good celluloid. The rest they added in is ok though, but none of it
makes it a better movie. Leave well enough alone I say.

True.
