I am setting up a server for the first time. I have 3
73gb SCSI drives and need info on setup. I would like to
use the first drive for OS and Programs. The second drive
to hold the data and the third drive to mirror the
second. Please advise if this is recommended and
possible. I will be using MS 2000 SBS OS.

Thank you,

I would suggest taking all 3 drives, and Making 1 RAID 5 set out of them.
That will give you approx 130GB of useable space.

You can install the OS to a "partition" that is whatever size you want it to
be. I would recommend no more than 18G ( as it is hard to imagine that much
system software needing to be installed).

The other 112GB can be for data, or server apps, or whatever you want to use
it for.
