new problems after format

I just formatted my pc and reinstalled xp, but now 2
problems are occuring. The first is that under device
manager, there is the exclaimation mark because usb print
support and the only way to print is to uninstall it and
restart. The other problem is, for me to connect to the
internet after startup, i have to disable then enable my
lan connection. The second problem started after adding
service pack 1 (im not 100% sure tho)

SP1 has new drivers for USB v2.0, so right click on the USB device and say
update drivers...automatically...
