New pc with Vista , freezes.

I just bought a new emachine T5062, and from day one I have had freeze after
freeze, especially if i try to open a second window..........what the heck?
I thought Vista was supposed to be so good!!!
Ive dont the memory check ... all is good. I cannot figure it out..im ready
to go back to XP!!

Hi,

Going back to XP isn't going to help a faulty hardware issue, which is more
than likely what you have. Return or exchange the machine, as no new machine
should behave in that manner.

Freezing is more likely a hardware issue and a switch to a different
operating system will not change that.
Bad memory is only one possible cause.
Others can be bad drivers, video card, hard driver etc.

Contact Emachines for warranty service/replacement.
