It all started early monday morning....
I heard my pc reboot about 3:00 AM, and thought...hmmmm....windows must be
updating. In the morning when I looked...BSOD!!!! No problem, I
thought...I'll jsut boot into safe mode and see wha tthe issue is...no dice.
Hmmm....well surely a repair install will do the trick... Repair install
worked, but evertime I tried to load a driver for my MOBO Windows would break
again. I had to go with the nuclear option and reinstall windows on a
freshly formatted hard drive.
I DO have an HP P/S/C model 1210,
and an NVIDIA Graphics card.
Everything seems to be working well now, but MS's poor quality control
totally killed my day off. Now I don't feel bad at all participating in
those class action lawsuits....do I smell another? From now on I am turning
off auot updates....I'll let someone else beta test the new patches since
microsoft won't.

As long as we're picking on spelling, why not include grammar?
Never start a sentence with a conjuction. You forgot punctuation at the end
of your 'helpful' comment. :P

So it was the motherboard driver? How's that Microsoft's fault.

Yes....you're right....it was the MOBO driver's fault in the same manner that
HP's
'share to web' software is responsible for breaking its installation of
Iexplorer when the security update MS06-015 was applied....shame on you HP!!!
:P

This is the update we are speaking of. COuld it be possible that MS is not
disclosing all of the software/driver confilcts that this lastest patch is
creating....*gasp! If you want to beleive that my installation of Windows
spontaneously broke after two years of peacful cooexistence with my
motherboard driver(up until the security patch was installed)....be my guest.
