New Page of Word Doc

My mom created a new doc. She saved it and then revised
it. She then copied it and deleted the old document.
Each time she goes to open word the old document opens. I
have tried to locate the file, by doing a serch, I also
tried looking for a template thinking that she created a
template by accident, but I do not find a template
either. She is using windows 98.

I will be here visiting her from out of town until
wednesday so any help you can offer will be greatly
appreciated.

Hi Cathi,

It sounds like your mum saved her work to Word's 'Normal.dot' template. If
you close Word and delete 'Normal.dot', Word with create a new one (without
your mum's work) next time it starts. To find where 'Normal.dot' is kept,
look under Tools|Options|File Locations and see where Word's templates are
kept.

instructions were so easy to follow. I bet my Mom could
have even done it - Well maybe not - LOL - Seriously Thank
