New Page ; getting a blank one

I have made a website with 3 pages. I went to add a new page and I choose
blank page and it gives me a page with my index.htm file on it but it's like
a watermark. I erased the info and it too erased my index page?!?! I have
tried a few times I keep getting a like shadow of the index and can't get a
plain page. The second page didn't do this. Any Ideas? Thanks as always!
 
You are apparently using Shared Borders which are applied automatically to all new pages too
Move your non recurring content (on your other pages) out of the shared borders, or remove the shared border from your new page
(Format Shared Borders)
