Does your ATX power supply have a 2x2 square +12V connector ? Modern
motherboards have two power connectors - the ATX 20pin "regular" power
connector, plus the 2x2 connector which powers the processor. Give
that a try.

There is also the solder blob problem, present on a number of boards.
You would think all those boards would be flushed out of retail by
now...

After the P3B-F, all Asus boards are very sensitive, or picky, about memory,
mounting to cases, add-on card insertion, etc.

You may need to check all, even taking everything out and re-mount carefully
again few times before it works. Though I have built many systems, that is
no
guarantee that everything will work immediately, which is so different with
those
P2B, P2B-F, P3B-F boards.

When I wanted to switch cases, nothing happens though the two systems work
perfectly just moments before. Finally, I just let them work as they are.
Time
are wasted on this, with some frustration too.

Just be patient and make sure you check everything before concluding that it
ia a bad board.

Good luck.
