Cal:
I successfully installed the drivers on Vista x64 with a 7600GT card.
My son is happily playing FSX.
No problems so far.
No performance differences can be noticed.
Windows Performance Rating remained the same (4.6 for Graphics and 4.8 for
3D)

Unfortunately, the sleep/hibernate problem is back with these.
BSOD after an hour playing Battlefield 2. Wasn't there with 101.41.
Can't use 101.70 cos I get jerkovision video playback on my TV card in
WMC.

I suspect that's just until they fix all the DX10 problems then they'll go
back to a unified release again.

I'm using the x64 Vista 8800 series drivers fine with a GeForceGO 7600
laptop by editing the .INF file, because Vida have never done a single Vista
x64 release for the GeForceGO yet and you really don't want to know how bad
the 7600 drivers are from MS, my laptop graphics rating went from 1.0 to 5.9
when I changed drivers :)

hello.

are there any vista drivers for the geforce go series? i am using a geforce
go 7300. i cant find any listed on the nvidia.com website. only geforce go
7900 which doesnt have a vista version listed. and the vista drivers dont
list geforce go as being included.

thanks for that. really helpful.

i took a little gamble and went with the 165.01 beta drivers. installed
perfectly and everything works fine. i have been having sleep/hibernate
issues so hope this has sorted it.

I went through install procedure from nVidia-took out my old nVidia driver
but wouldnt allow me to install 158- reverted to Microsoft driver which it
assured me was newest. Vista terminated the install. Now how do I install
158?

I had no problems installing 158 for my 8800 GTS. Did you follow their
linked page of directions before executing the new file? I went first into
Control Panel and removed the display driver only (left the check boxes for
other items) and then ran the 158 file. There's a pop-up at one point giving
you a choice to "let M/S find & install the driver (Recommended)" but DO NOT
choose that option. Go on to install the NVIDIA driver even after another
pop-up (in red) says it is not signed. The NVIDIA directions said some users
might need to install the driver twice by letting the 2nd install remove the
158 driver and install it again, but I did not see a need to go that far.
