NVIDIA Itself Is In Beta, Boycott NVIDIA Whenever Possible, And Use ATI
Products Powered By AMD Instead, Just FYI.

You do realize that no self respecting Linux user would suggest ATI over
nVidia, right?

Might want to jump back onto the ubuntu groups for a while.

Actually since AMD has taken over ATI, their linux support has gotten
alot better. It may not rival nvidia yet, but I'm glad to see the
improvement.

Agreed, although my x1600 "red screens" on 7.10 on first boot, least it
would complete the install on Feisty.

Really, I was just out to point at another example of how kevpan obviously
doesn't represent the Linux community.

ATI's Windows Vista RTM Device Drivers Are Light Years Ahead Of NVIDIA's
Windows Vista RTM Device Drivers, Which Is What I Was Referring To, Just
FYI. Eventually ATI Will Catch Up On Their Linux Device Drivers As Well,
Considering The Fact That They Are Now Owned By AMD, Just FYI.
