My last IE critical update consisted of downloading FireFox :>).

IE is getting a little long in the tooth. I've seen it more than once, even
in MS groups, that IE is gradually becoming the browser to work around.

Perhaps MS should quit resting on its laurels - and by laurels I mean fat
*ss - and get back to work. It's kinda funny seeing the phrase "Current
issues" in a 3+ year old browser.

I don't disagree with ya, Bob.

But, this particular problem actually rests with the O/S, not IE. and, the
patch simply reconfigures a setting in the registry.

Now, the *real* problem has to be fixed...the flaw in IIS that causes the
web sites to be infected in the first place!

Kasey says to ask you to join us on the patio tonight!!!

I'd love to, but the missus and I are a having a lime themed fiesta
tonight....
Grilling spicy Lime Shrimp skewers, fajita style Ribeye skewers, and
Margaritas.

You know, typical, Montana style, down-home cookin' .

Maybe Jimmy Buffet will drop by, oh yeah!

I ran Windows Update but MS web site doesn't list any "critical updates" for
Windows ME - which is one of the affected OS's.

T

Tom Pepper Willett

No, WinME is not one of the affected O/S. It's Win 2000, win 2003 and Win
XP.
